Unlock Your Potential

Colleagues at Work

Workplace Social Skills

Introduction

Hello! This is the first lesson in a course designed to help you build your social skills at work. Everyone is a little nervous when they encounter people they may not know well. For some people, saying "hello" and starting a conversation isn't easy.  For others, it's the simplest thing. However, coming up with things to say after "hello" is still challenging. Either way, you're not alone. Like other skills, you can build on them and make friends along the way!

In this lesson, you will...

Learn: How to greet your coworkers and customers in a friendly way and start a conversation. Why? Well, keeping up good relations with those at your job makes it pleasant to go to work. Treating coworkers and customers in a friendly way helps build your confidence and strengthens their connections with you.
